Hang gliding is an aerobics, hobby, employment, passive experience, or even a profession in which the man pilots the hang glider (Aet). It may be for recreational purposes or in the context of an air racing match. Although it began as a simple landslide from low hills with low-performance eagles, hang gliding has evolved so that it can now fly to heights for hours, gain thousands of feet high by taking advantage of the thermal uplifts of the air, perform acrobatics, and to travel long distances. This sport is similar to the paraglider and the glider, except that the eagle is much simpler and cheaper than the glider, and is clearly faster and more volatile than the paraglider. It consists of an aluminum or (more rarely) synthetic skeleton, framed by a fabric wing. The pilot hangs from the eagle with a belt and controls the flight by shifting the weight of his body. There are many variations in materials and settings to choose what suits it according to usage (racing, recreational, educational, professional, etc.)
